General terms and conditions for conducting qualification and training courses provided by the Aviation Training Centre at Vasil Levski Airport – Sofia, SOF Connect AD

With aviation training centre certificate No. 22/19.04.2021, issued by the Civil Aviation Administration, in accordance with REGULATION No. 27 of 31.03.2000 on aviation training centres for the training of aviation personnel.

2. Definitions and Scope

2.1. Service – conducting qualification and training courses for personnel involved in aviation security, ground handling and airport operations.

2.2. Contract – a distance contract concluded between SOF Connect AD and a merchant or other entity acting in a professional capacity, consisting of these general terms and conditions, which are binding on the Customer and are published on the website.

2.3. Unique number – a unique number that identifies the paid Service.

2.4. Aviation Training Centre – located next to Terminal 1 at Vasil Levski Airport – Sofia, 1540 Sofia, 1 Christopher Columbus Blvd., Sofia Airport.

2.5. Platform – the Aviation Training Centre’s website where the Customer can read the General Terms and Conditions and pay for the Service.

2.6. Confirmation – written notification sent by SOF Connect AD to the email address provided by the Customer after payment for the Service. The notification contains a unique number and/or other information related to the Service provided.

2.7. Customer – any merchant or other entity acting in a professional capacity who pays for a Service through the Platform of SOF Connect AD.

2.8. Party/Parties – SOF Connect AD (details specified above) and/or the Customer.

2.9. Trainee – a person in whose favour a Contract is concluded through the Aviation Training Centre Platform. A Trainee may be a third party specified by the Customer when making an order.

3. Conclusion of the Service Agreement

3.1. To request the Service, you must fill in the fields with the required information, accept these General Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and make the payment.

3.2. The Service Agreement is considered concluded from the moment of confirmation of the order by SOF Connect AD, which action occurs automatically after payment is made by the Customer.

3.3. The Contract is concluded with regard to the view of the Trainee. The rights under the Contract that the Trainee receives cannot be transferred to a third party, except with the express consent of SOF Connect AD.

3.4 SOF Connect AD shall send to the email address provided by the Customer an automatically generated email and a Confirmation of Payment for the Service, including a unique identification number and/or other information, where applicable.

4. Payment for the Service

4.1. Payment for the Service is processed by a third party payment operator – Mypos.BG EOOD, UIC 203964123 (https://www.mypos.com/; help.bg@mypos.com; +359 2 492 84 38).

4.2. The prices of the Service are indicated on the SOF Connect AD Platform.

5. Right to withdraw from the Service

The right to withdraw from a concluded Contract and to receive a refund is set out in the Return and Refund Policy, which you can find on the Platform.

6. Processing of personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. You can find more information about the processing of personal data in the Privacy Policy available on the Platform.

7. Additional provisions

7.1. All disputes and disagreements arising from the performance of these contractual relations shall be resolved through mutual negotiations between the Parties. If the Parties cannot agree, then all disputes, disagreements or claims related to the Contract, its termination, amendment or validity shall be resolved by the competent Bulgarian court in the city of Sofia, in accordance with the current laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.

8. General provisions

8.1. SOF Connect AD reserves the right to supplement and amend these General Terms and Conditions. Amendments to the General Terms and Conditions shall be announced through an explicit announcement published on the Platform.

8.2. The amended and supplemented General Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on the date announced on the Platform.
